Hey,
I've been looking at some Kaiser Permanente job postings and one of the requirements listed are 6 months of experience in an acute care setting or successful completion of the internal Kaiser New Graduate LVN program.
Does any one know how you can complete the internal program or is this something that's done after getting hired? Also, is there a way to look for job openings in Hospice or LTC?
I've been using sites like indeed and glassdoor but haven't been able to find any. The only job openings I'm not really looking for are home health because it seems daunting and doesn't have a set location.

I don't know much about Kaiser but job postings for ltc are a plenty. I'm not sure what state you're in but I'm in NY and frequently see them. Most of them require experience which is a catch 22....how can I get experience if no one will hire me for being inexperienced =/
When I got desperate, I just started applying everywhere I wanted because the worse that could happen is I'd get no response. Believe it or not I got interviews, not hired lol, but I did get to brush up on my interviewing skills.
I'm looking in southern California, I've seen a lot of LTC job openings but they all require 1-2 years of experience.

Kaiser is one of the most difficult healthcare systems to get hired into. The internal Kaiser new grad LVN program is for internal employees who were already working there while going to LVN school.
