New Grad LPN pay!

I was looking around on the LPN boards and noticed that someone put new grad pay in Mississippi is $9 an hour:uhoh21: This was back in 2005 but still please tell me this is not true! I heard it was more like $13-$14 an hour depending on where you work.

A nurse recruiter from the Biloxi, MS., VA hospital came to our campus yesterday to talk to us about LPN jobs at the VA. (Long term care, clinics and telemetry, mostly).

The starting pay for LPN's is $11 something per hour, plus 25% shift differential for weekends and something for graveyard, I think.

That's what he said yesterday.
