New grad lpn in ltc working under temp permit

Any LPNs or RNs ever work gpn or gn? Did you feel you had adequate orientation? Also I thought the facility was required to have an RN on the unit with you?

I have to say I'm enjoying learning to prioritize with all those residents and huge med passes, but I also feel I'm drowning and a tad unsafe...

Any advice would be appreciated thanks all!
