New Grad job troubles

Any new grads that just recently passed RN NCLEX having trouble finding a job now? Damn all that school and hard work and It came to a holt. Everyone I applied to in Va hampton roads area isn't hiring all because Im new grad. If I was experience i would have had it made. Will anyone give us new grads a chance.

Having the same problems here in Baltimore. Many hospitals to choose from but every job listed requires 2 - 3 years of experience. Doesn't seem fair somehow. All that work to get here and now here's not the place to be. Hoping our luck changes.

You know, I have spent the last two days in a management course (I am not sure why I was asked to go to this course. I used to teach these courses). In any case, we were told over and over for these two days that there is such a shortage of nurses and by the time we retire there will not be enough nurses to take care of us etc. And I can't understand this. Because every day when I log on to this site I hear from new grads out there who cannot find a job. How can anyone expect nurses to be ready for the future if they won't give them a job? I just don't understand why we are constantly told that there is a shortage when no one can get hired. Comments please!!
