If anyone can give tips or advice that would be great! I'm from San Diego but I got my BSN out of state and I'm moving back to San Diego. However, I've been struggling to find a job as a new grad. I've been applying to residency's all over San Diego and even some locations in LA. But I just can't seem to even get an interview. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I don't have much experience besides clinicals and some volunteer work. Does anyone have any tips or things I could add to my resume? Also does anyone know of any other jobs maybe clinics that will take a new grad if a hospital won't hire me? I need a job and I'm not really sure what to do at this point.

You need your California license. Have you had your resume double / triple checked? This is not a good time of the year to be job hunting. HR is already on Christmas vacation , in their minds.
