New grad internship

Hi I want to apologize early on for any grammar issues, because I am recovering from surgery. Anyway I'm a new grad and having a hard time finding full time work. I recently applied to a new grad internship position that said after successful completion a lateral move to an OR nurse position would be available. I don't know if its the percocet or the pain that I am on right now but I can't figure out what that means. Does it mean you are hired in a non-paid position then if you do well you are offered a real job or what? If anyone has any clue I'd appreciate it..thanks. I don't want to go out for something I have no interest in doing..such a working for free. :)

Any one have any idea? My school did not have any kind of extern ship program. I have never seen a job posting for rn intern till today. Does anyone have any idea?
