So I know this topic has been bounced around a bit, but yet here I am bringing it up again. I am currently 21, hold a Bachelors degree (not in nursing), and will be completing my ADN program here in just under two weeks. I have a job lined up in the OR starting in July. Here is where my dilemma is, I have been looking at starting either a BSN or going into a MSN bridge program. I am concerned that if I were to do a BSN program I would be "wasting" time as my end goal would be to get a MSN anyway. But on the other hand I am concerned that if I were to do a bridge program, I would be considered "over educated" for entry level supervisor positions in the future.
The BSN program I am looking at would be through Capella due to their FlexPath and quick finish time. (6-9 months). I looked at WGU but their transfer credit evaluation was not in my favor and would require me to complete way too many gen eds for it to be a viable options.
