Once you get started you'll find yourself on a role. One thing I did when I was learning how to use Epic was I made cheat sheet for admit's, discharges, surgicals, IV's, pain and a few others. I asked every nurse I worked with what they do and wrote it all down. There are also lots of tabs to help separate out what is needed specifically for things like IV's and wounds.
You'll do great. Relax and take it all in.

Hi,
I am a fairly new grad (worked 10 months in LTC) and am starting on a Med/Surg floor tomorrow. So, we had 2 days of orientation on Epic and I know it takes a while to learn, but it sure seems like a lot of information. Does anyone know of any links that could help a new nurse set up her day using Epic? Thanks :)
