U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hello Everyone,

I recently attended an open house hosted by Memorial Hermann in new jersey... to make a long story short i was really impressed with the offers that were made.. benefits begining on the 1st day of employment, 10k/ year towards my bachelors and 15/yr towards the masters, 8k for relocation with a two year commitment. ive been looking into signing up for the internship program that they offer since im a new grad. what im hoping to find out is

1. whats the average salary in houston

2. although every city has its own issues, are there any major things i need

to be aware of?

3. is there anyone who's currently working for memorial hermann? and what

has been your experience there.

thanks guys in advance for all your advice. :)

For new grad RNs working in Houston-area facilities, I've heard that the starting pay is from $21 to $27 hourly. The pay will definitely be less than what new RNs in NJ earn, but this is due to COL (cost of living) differences between the two locales.

Hopefully other people will come along and post with more information. Good luck to you!
