I'll apologize in advance because I'm totally lost as to how to find information on this topic. Your help is much appreciated.
I'm graduating in May from an accelerated BSN program in Massachusetts. It's likely that I'm going to have to move to find my first job (Boston is saturated now). I've spent a lot of time in Nova Scotia and Cape Breton and would love to move there, at least for a couple of years.
I'm researching the differences between the US and Canada. I'm still trying to figure out if it would be possible to get a new-grad type job in Nova Scotia? My specific interest is in Emergency nursing but I'm also up for ICU or Med-Surg.
Any suggestions of places to look or things I should know?
Thanks!
Paul

Hi Paul
I have been seeing less and less jobs advertised here in NS although there are still some but if you are looking for ER/ICU then I think you are really looking at Halifax. I would suggest you get sorted with the college of RN's once you have completed your training and passed NCLEX as you will have to sit and pass the CRNE.
