New Grad Advice

After graduating from nursing school I moved from Utah to Massachusetts. While I have enjoyed the area and have been researching local hospitals, I have been having trouble finding a job.

Any advice on how to network and meet nurses in the area?

Where do some of you work and what do you think helped get you the job?

Have you joined the state nurses association or other specialty organizations? This is where you will have the opportunity to network, whether it's to get insider information or to meet someone with the power to make hiring decisions.
