Dear all I am really excited about this, I am now on the fist steps of becoming a nurse, I went to Hersing College here in Orlando FL,
I took a examination test where you have 50 question and 12 minutes to answer, where you must get at least 17 right, (you dont have to answer all of it)
- got my score, passed the silly test, and got to speak with the advisor, and she questioned me about why nursing.... bla bla bla
well pass that, I scheduled my NET test, wich will be taken on FEB 8th.
I have been studying a lot for the test, and feel that I might be ready already!
My question to all is: Is there any nurse here that went trough the nursing school at Hersing Orlando? or Hersing anywere else?
The reason why i chose this school, is the fact that it is a 24 month program, including your general, and everything, it is expensive since it is a private school, but i can't aford to waste 2 years in general classes plus wait for acceptance in line of a CC here in central FL
All I know is that i cant wait to start the program, My syster is a Nurse in Brazil, she is now managing the Nurse department in a big hospital, and i always wanted it for me also!
so therefore, i cant wait in order to get involved with my course, and get to work in the field, I have been thinking to pursue, anesthesiology after, but as of now, i have to be accepeted, start from the begining, and go from there...
I have been taking some online courtesy classes
(not acredited) in A & P, just to start having some base...
I have been studying for my NET test wich will take place 3 weeks from now, and i am trying really hard, and trainning for an ACE, once there are 300 APPLICATIONS for 20 openings!!!
GOOOOOSH, it is very frustrating, i just hope so much to get accpeted and be able to go trhough school, and build up my skills in order to work in one of the most greatfull fields ever!!!
