New to Excelsior

Hi everyone,

I am new to Excelsior - haven't even taken my first exam yet! I was scheduled to take the Transitions test today but chickened out and cancelled....ugh. I was a traditional LPN to RN student at a local college, but failed on my last day this past December with a 74 instead of a 75 average. Unbelievable, but true. Being that I spent 3 semesters at that college, I think that Excelsior shouldn't be too bad for me. I just need to get my confidence back up - failing kicked my butt and I just don't feel too good about myself, which is why I can't make myself take that first test. I'm scared of failing again.

Anyhow, I have been reading some of the posts on this page and I've gotten some great information that I can definately work with! I'm going to be popping in a lot for some confidence-boosting!!

Thanks,

kathie
