New Emergency Department Nurse in Lompoc, CA

Hi all nurses community,

I'm Olivia, and I just joined All Nurses. I accepted a job as an emergency department RN in Lompoc, California. I am super nervous about this move, and wondering if anyone has any advice/tips about working night shifts. I am also searching for roommates/subleases in either Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo since those are towns about an hour away from the hospital. If any other nurses or healthcare professionals are in this area, and are also searching for roommates, I would love to talk! Best of luck to all the new nurses out there, I know it's been such a struggle to finally pass the NCLEX and land that first job without experience.
