While at my nurse aid clinical today, a resident decided to bite off one of the ear pieces of my stethoscope. However, I borrowed the stethoscope from a friend in nursing school and she's coming to pick it up Tuesday night because she has her clinical Wednesday and needs it. It is a Littman Lightweight Classic II SE. Any idea how to replace the one earpiece before she comes to get it Tuesday night?

OK, ick! But just so you know, I bought a new pair of squishy earpieces for my Littman from Work n' Gear...they're much more comfortable than the hard plastic ones.
The earpieces that came on mine were squishy! I know I could order them offline, but I don't have time since I need them tomorrow!! I am located in central Ohio.

Why in the world would a resident bite off stethoscope ear pieces???
Ha I was on the dementia unit. I've seen them do a lot of interesting things.
