Hi, I am an RN, BSN with 16yrs experience, 7yrs in OR. I live in eastern NC making 30ish/hour. I am considering travel nursing starting next year. My boyfriend lives in central TX and we would like to move in together next summer when my son graduates high school. Could I conceivably travel between eastern NC and central TX, alternating assignments perhaps? I've always been interested in travel nursing and I think this would allow me to live with my boyfriend but also spend time with my son while he's in college. My OR experience has been in a small local hospital and a day surgery, do I have enough experience to travel?
