I recently became a CNA and I have no experience in the field what so ever, unfortunately. I'm 20 years old and my only job experience has been Kohls, The Olive Garden, and Arbys (high school job)...
I need help on "pepping up" my resume so that I have a chance at getting a job, even without experience. I am not sure how to word things, or even where to begin! I feel like a lost cause.
Someone help!!

Well I'm sure your job experience wont be a major factor as of not having any experience is something worst. You actually have a lot to work with for being your age believe it or not. Since, most of your jobs have been in assisting customers in a type of serivce. Focus on that being a main factor in your experience on your resume. This would be good for when a pt or resident is pushing the call light. Also, another thing you could focus on for your experience is time management in assisting customers in a fast effective service. Nevertheless, also list skills you have as far as typing, awards and anything that you have accomplished and education. Also if you have learned BLS add that you are CPR certified! Below I also listed a site on here that could help you with your resume. WISH YOU LUCK ON THE JOB PROCESS!

When I applied to my CNA jobs, I beefed up my job skills to show I was customer serive oriented, took iniciative, and was able to be a leader.
