I think that any of the public schools will require 12 months residency in order to pay in-state tuition; otherwise you will have to pay out-of-state tuition. Residency doesn't matter with a private school as they charge the same tuition to everyone.
Btw, I love Bradenton and can't wait to move back someday.

ok, so I am right near a Keiser College, and $44k for an RN program seems REALLY step to me.
I am from MI, and was attending HFCC at $116'ish per credit hour while taking the pre- req's and classes not in the 'nursing core' while waiting to be placed into the actual core.
I looked at MCC and was pleasantly surprised at it $66.11 per credit hour until I noticed that I need to be in Florida for 12 months to qualify....
I am now thinking of finding an LPN/PN program to enroll in so that I can at least begin working sometime soon.
Does anyone have any advice, or knowledge, that I am overlooking?
My goal is to eventually become an RN, but I would also like to be earning money as soon as possible. (currently a stay at home mom.)
TIA for any advice/tips/unknown programs, etc.
