hello!

:)

Welcome! Congrats on getting started! How's the training going so far? I'll be starting mid-April and I'm really looking forward to it too. :)

I'm starting Monday, April 4th and I am so excited. I hope things are going well for you.

I will be starting my CNA class on 4/25 (in Virginia) I'm really excited too. I'm planning on working on my prereqs for nursing school afterwards over the Summer. Congrats!!

I will be begining my CNA program may 2nd :) && im excited as well...good luck everyone on your courses :)

sc :)

Good luck! The classes are easy. The best thing you can do is remember that you will need to know every step for each of your skills. That's the hardest part. Make yourself some flashcards to help remember them. :)

Specializes in CNA, Aspiring CRNA.

the course is super fun with a ton of important information . . . it teaches basic nursing care and is a great foundation . . .

the exams are not hard at all, provided you read the textbook and review the highlights. in fact, none of the questions are "in depth".

you take from the course what you want . . . just enough to pass or everything it has to offer because you want to internalize the info.

best wishes!

my class was fun (:

and clinicals were a great experience i cant wait to find a job after i take my state test hopfulyy i pass !

you guys will have a good time its enjoyable

I took the class back in 1997. I'm retaking the class next month (May 2011) When I took the course, it was a week of in-classroom and the next 2 weeks were clinicals. I did mine in a nursing home, as I'm sure every class does this no matter what state you're in.

I had fun, so will you!

Hi! I'm getting ready to start my CNA classes this Saturday 4/9, I'm SOOO excited! I'm taking a 6 week course weekends only, 12 hrs each day. I can't wait to finally get started in the healthcare field. There is a 2 year wait to get into the nursing program at the community college here in AZ so i figured i would do this while waiting and going to school. Good luck!
