New Ads on all nurses.

There seems to be some sort of new ad system. Every time I try to read a post a movie preview starts up in the new post down at the bottom. Is this just me or is it happening to other guest as well. Just curious.

I noticed that too. I have slow internet since living in a rural area. The loading speed is continually changing so looking at U-tube or something that needs to load takes awhile before being able to watch. Anything over 10 minutes I just give up on. Those ads slow me down also and is a nuisance but you just get used to it and I don't want to go to satellite internet.

Yes! If I leave Allnurses window open, then a video will randomly start playing. I have to shut the window when I'm not actively on the site. Quite annoying. I was in the kitchen and suddenly my laptop started making noise in the other room, scared the heck out of me.

Use FireFox (works on Winduhs PCs too) and the FireFox add-on "Adblock Plus", and no more ads. It's free to download, just google it.

Those annoying ads don't slow my pages down (cable internet), but the sound is too much to put up with. Plus Firefox doesn't crash, ever; and it's a more user-friendly interface.

If you're on a tablet, the Adblock Plus app is free, too. In the Google store. Makes Android devices load faster and it saves data on your plan, in case that's a concern.

I do use Firefox, but I'm not using any adblock software. I will give it a try.
