I got accepted into an online master's program a month ago. The letter told me to email my advisor to make a scheduling appt. I did that a month ago and never heard back from her. I emailed the coordinator of the program, and she told me she had been away but is back now. That was a week ago. Then I forwarded some questions to the coordinator, and she said she would forward the questions to the advisor who would get back to me. That was a week ago, and I haven't heard anything. I don't want to be a pest and get in bad with the advisor, as she also teaches some of the courses. School starts in Jan., and I don't want to be closed out of the course I want to start with. Should I email her again, email the coordinator again, or call the advisor or the coordinator? Or should I just be patient and wait? I have no experience with these online programs. It is a university that offers the same program offline. Thank you for any advice you can give me. Perhaps there is an advisor or a teacher on this thread who could also give me advice. Thanks. well, i do know this. for the msn program at mizzou you'll have to take graduate stats, nursing theory 7100, and apn role aquisition (i think 7110). you'll have to ok with your advisor... and she should work with you and send you by email a plan of study (that outlines which courses to take and what semesters) but I do know that is what a lot of students end up taking the first semester if they are going full time.
