Grab a textbook, preferably by Hickey and look at it then draw it. I always learned better when I drew the subject (like the Circle of Willis). I think I drew the COW a million times when I was studying for the CNRN. If you can draw it you can visualize and then when you need to discuss it just picture the circulation pattern in your head.

Uploaded is a set of notes from my CRNA program regarding neuroanatomy. You'll want to go back to page 36 (?) and read from there - it's all really good neuro ICU info, though...made what I had been doing prior to going to school make MUCH more sense!
does any one here has a notes in neuro anatomy??

Go to your local bookstore and look at a textbook if you don't have any textbooks from nursing school anymore. There may also be a book specifically on neuro. I love flipping through books at the bookstore to see what is the most informative and will give me the best information so that I know I will use it when I buy it and sit down to read it. I have SO many books and a thirst for knowledge that I think is becoming an obsession honestly... my last year of nursing school i purchased $1000 in extra books and got bits and pieces of information from all of them that I used to help study for classes and the nclex. Passed nclex first try with 75 questions and became known among my friends as the walking textbook lol. still flip through them in my downtime to just keep my information refreshed and clear.
I second the drawing out the circulation too. That really helps drive it home!
