I wanted to ask a question about neurogenic shock?
I wanted to make sure that I understand early identification of this type of shock. I will watch for s/s of bradycardia & hypotension due to the massive dilliation that occurs and the fact that the cardiac receptors are being block in people who have this condition.
also I will watch their temp? will it be low since they are hypothermic because of they can't control heat? Please make sure I am on the correct path of understanding these shock conditions.
I am currently taking critical care nursing and their are sooo many shock conditions. we are currently studying hypovolemic, Cardiogenic, anaphylatic, neurogenic. also we are going thru the septic shock and multi - oragn dysfunction syndrome. If anyone knows any websites or any additional tools that can help me, I would be very appreciative.
Thank you.:typing
