Well CONGRATS on taking the 1st step:monkeydance:
I know I took the NET test and I have to say I was somewhat "shocked" how easy it was. I know I got myself all wound up for nothing(I had pushed it back a few times in fear I wouldnt pass & we are only able to take it once a year) I know it is pretty basic math(I had been studying for advance algerbra!) Ratios, Percents, addition, subtraction, multiplication, divsion, and basic algerbra equations.
The reading comp is pretty easy too.
I found that the the onlinetestprep was too overwhemiling & had stuff that wasnt even on there! CLiff notes makes a book called "Nursing school entrance exam" which is really good. If you lived closer to Colorado I would give it to you:wink2: I know I would go Barnes & Noble and take a lookies!
Good Luck!!! If you have any other questions feel free to ask me!
Thank you so much!!! I have been really, really tense about the whole situation. I am not going to take this test lightly because of what you have mention. I am still going to give it my all!! Thany you so much!!
Yhea I know I was soooo freaking out and I think I almost siked myself out to the point I should be glad I did to well:uhoh21: I know just take your time and I know I did every question twice on the math section! I know there is sooo much basic math that I wanted to do as WELL AS I CAN on that so I could have some "screw up range" on the tougher stuff:jester:
I will cross my fingers but not my toes because that is bad luck:lol2:
You will do FINE and you will get it out of the way! I keep telling myself worse come to worse I will know what is one the test for next time! You have been studying and will do fine!
You was so correct!!! The test was very basic, but I am not going to say i aced it. Being out of school for 17 years( Thank GOD I studied) this test would have been very difficult if I had not refreshed my memory:idea: . Also you made me feel less nervous about the test because you reassured me of the test material was not difficult and I had studied the correct material.
Hopefully, I passed with no less than 99 percentile. I have a question for you. Was it a lot of people trying to get in the class you are now in? If so how many people and how difficult was it for you to get in ?
We got our results INSTANTLY:lol2: which was good & bad because I was "preparing" myself incase they told me I failed!
I am going to a private school and they take 30 students a class and run 2-3 classes a year. They run it with the 1st come & top score thing & then run a wait list after that. Oh course I am paying a ARM/LEG about 20k because they run it this way:uhoh3:
You will do fine! I know I keep waiting for it to get harder and I was "somewhat" shocked!
Cant wait to hear how you did!

Forgive my ignorance but what is a NET test. I'm not sure I have come across this in my State.
Dont feel ignorant! It is the Nursing Entrance Test:wink2:
Got my score back!!! Here are my results.
Composite Score 82
Composite Percentile 98
What do these number mean. I know I pass but I need to know if these numbers are good enough. The required scores for passings are 42% for Math and 51% for Reading. :uhoh3: :uhoh3: :uhoh3: :gandalf:
Thanks you for any responses
