I didnt have to take the NET however, I can give you a piece of advice about passing reading parts of standardized tests. First, skim the passage for comprehension so you have an idea what it is they are talking about and trying to convey. Secondly, when you get to the questions and dont know an answer, look at the first and last sentences of each paragraph to find your answer instead of trying to re-read the whole thing. Your answer will most likely be in one of those sentences, if by chance it isn't, the first sentence will give you a good idea what that paragraph is about so you know to either move on or keep reading to find your answer.

heres the stuff i found from the NET i took a few years ago

1. the questions about "what is the main idea of the passage", all the answers/main ideas were the very first sentence. ALL OF THEM. made a 100% on that part

2. the part where it gauges how fast you can read....yeah....like they can determine that. just put down a number thats really far. i put something like 3 lines from finishing. it got me some more points. you have time to go back and reread it to answer the questions.

3. the math....know how to add/subtract/divide/multiply fractions and decimals and some basic algebra (solving for x). the rest you should know how to do just from being able to breathe.
