NET essay

I am taking the NET in a couple of weeks and it has any essay portion. Can anyone give me examples of what kind of essay question it will be? And is there a choice of questions?

Thanks in advance!

I took the NET a couple of weeks ago and I did have an essay question. But it was the director who came up with the question himself; it wasn't part of the NET itself. My question was something about the economy and how it affects nursing. And I think every school might have a different question.

I know what at Greater Lowell Tech, they weren't looking for any right or wrong answers, they just want to see how well you write and how well you can structure a paragraph.

Don't worry about it; you'll be fine!!

prisi -Regarding the NET - were there a lot of algebra questions? I am nervous since I have been out of school for so long. Thanks for your help!

The math section had 30 questions and I think they give like 30 minutes to finish that section. At first I thought ok great! that's do-able...but the math problems were pretty hard. It took me the entire half hour. It has a lot of percentages and fractions which I'm not big on so I freaked out when I saw them! But you really do have to keep calm and take your time; you dont want careless mistakes to be the reason why you dont pass.

I found that the NET study guide helped me a whole lot! If you study it cover to cover and take the practice tests you should do fine!

Good luck with everything!!
