Neonatal dissertation ideas

Hi all,

I am just starting to think about my dissertation but feel like I am going round in circles so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I want to work in neonates when i qualify, so would like to focus my dissertation on the neonatal population. So far I am interested in pain management and also NEC. I just can't seem to come up wth specific questions related to them. I want to do literature review as I have a young family and don't have lots of time to go out interviewing etc. Does anyone have any suggestions???

Start by just reading some articles, maybe there might be some new information, are you interested in more micro-preemies, late pre-term, etc? Lit reviews can be very interesting as you could compare different types of treatment, responses to treatment, recurrences.

Everyone that is a student has other commitments and limited time outside of school, for some it is a family, for others it may be something else, it just takes a balancing act to do the work. Please don't use your family as an excuse to as to why you can't do something, EVERYONE has limited time, EVERYONE is busy and find it hard to do research.
