I've been through numerous post but couldn't find the information I needed. .. I want to apply for Spring 2016 with the application being due October 1. Does this mean I only need my pre reqs done to apply and get it in? Or do I need pre reqs done and have already taken the 4 CBE by October 1 to secure a Spring 2016 start dat?.. And also are the 4 CBE done prior to being admitted. I just need a clarification bc the website is not clear enough for me. I'm in Virginia and I'm a LPN btw.

Call an advisor at the school and ask.

When I was accepted to the ISU LPN-BSN program, I had applied to ISU admissions first as a degree seeking student. Once accepted to the university, I had then completed the four CSMs prior to being accepted into the actually nursing program. It appears that this process still holds true today. Here is a link for reference. As previously suggested, you can also call an ISU advisor to confirm.

BTW, I had a great experience at ISU and had completed my BSN and passed my boards on the first attempt. I am now working as an RN. Best of luck!
Thank you. I've tried to reach someone numerous times and have left messages. I'm trying to get my ducks in a row. How long did it take you to complete the CSMs? I'm thinking to I want to stay studying maybe July and have them completed by the Oct 1 deadline for Spring
No problem, it took me about 3 months to complete the CSMs because you take them at your own pace. I had other classmates that completed them in two months. I wanted to take my time to ensure that I passed on the first attempt, which I did. The program took me a little under 3 years to complete.
