Which school are you going to? Have you checked the tutoring center at your school?
I am attending one of the maricopa county colleges. I did check to see if they offered tutoring, however they don't have those services for nursing. By any chance do you know of anyone who tutors on the side?
I don't know of anyone offhand. I am at MCC and they do offer tutoring for Nursing students at the library. You may want to check it out....
I wish we had that service at my college:( Do you know if these tutors nursing students? Or are they instructors?

They had nursing tutors when I went to Glendale. I don't know if they still do..........probably.
If you need a tutor, who cares whether they are students or instructors?
I found the single best thing that helped me in block 3 was to take the syllabus and outline everything to the syllabus from the book. I not only read the book, I typed my own outline to the book. It was very time consuming......but I went from the second lowest score in the class on the first test to the highest score in the class on the next test. With that method, I consistently scored in the top 5 of the class on every following test.
Perhaps changing your study style would work. I didn't have to study my life away in block 1 and 2, but that changed in block 3!
I agree with Hoozdo in that it doesn't really matter if the tutor is another student or an instructor. I also agree that you may have to change your study style. How do you prepare for tests now? What is your biggest challenge? Is it the content or is the NCLEX style questions? If you tell us where your problems lie then maybe we can offer you some suggestions.....Have you approached any students in your school who have just finished Block 3? They may be able to give you some insight on what to expect. Each school covers things differently, where some may think that Block 3 is the hardest, others may think it is the easiest. I know that for me I spent the least time studying in Block 3 than I did for either 1 and 2 and I still scored as high as I did in the previous Blocks....
The one thing that has really worked for me in NS is that I tape every lecture and listen to it at least one more time. It really helps. I also print out the lectures on 4x6 index cards, hole punch them, and carry them wherever I go in case I have a "study opportunity".....
