Does ANYONE out there know of an agency that would be willing to take me? I have not worked in the last 2 years, although I have much experience and would be a good employee? My home town has no work, and it's getting desperate! Thanks in advance!

It is not if the travel company will take you but they in turn market you to the facility where they will place you and that is where you are going to have issues. They are going to want to see current or recent experience as a nurse before they will accept you.
As a travel nurse, you are expected to jump right in and be able to function without much in the way of any type of orientation.
You may wish to look at some per diem positions in areas that are not to far from you and where you will get some orientation again. This may be the way for you to get started again.

I really agree with Suzanne on this. Most hospitalsare looking for someonewho can walk in,be shown a few things, and then go to work. I was working overseas for two years, when I came back, I was bombarded with a variety of new drugs, and changes in procedure. It took me a while to pick it all back up.
I'd try to get on at a few places on PRN status, and go from there. The agencys will be willingto recruit you, but you will be a tougher sell to facilities.
