Hi nurses!!!!!!! So, i'm a sophomore pre-nursing major, and as the title suggests i need some opinions from you guys. First, i want to be either a Nurse Midwife, Labor&Delivery Nurse, or Neonatal Nurse, or Air Force Nurse Midwife. If it's ok with yall, could some of yall in with these specific titles please give me your opinions of:
1.what you like about it?
2.What degree level &/or certifications you had to get?
3.What state, city, and hospital you work in and why?
4.Any additional advice
I'm asking this of yal because, i've been struggling since junior year of high school with deciding which type of nurse i want to be, and i feel like some feedback from actual nurses with these titles would help me decide. Thank yall so much :-D

In my opinion, you are premature in trying to decide what area of nursing/medicine you want to work in, you're not even in nursing school yet. Once you start clinicals, you will be exposed to a variety of clinical settings and usually people start to solidify their intentions then. Many people start nursing school "knowing" what area of nursing they want to work in only to find that once exposed to that area, it really isn't what they wanted. Don't stress about it now, worry about actually getting into nursing school first.
