At least where I go to school, the instructors don't care if you end up writing a mini-novel and sometimes even expect it. I would divide the disorders into viral and bacterial, then fill out the individual stuff for each disease under each classification. It may suck and take a long time, but it will be great to study from for the test or for clinicals.
please use my critical thinking flow sheet for nursing students for each disease. you can print the form out and fill it in for each disease.

Ok I sit here typing this with my big ol' textbook open on my lap and a bit lost! The question is, and I am also writing this out for class, Identify the etiology, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, medical management, and nursing management for disorders of the upper respiratory tract???.......OK so far I've read over about 8 in this chapter, all with very different (all of the above...sorry don't feel like typing ALL that out again) some bacterial, some viral....... How do I summarize that? How do I answer this question without breaking them all up and writing my own mini text book???
Thanks for any help.
