I just approached one of them at the hospital I worked at and asked if I could. Told them I was interested in CRNA and needed to do a school paper, etc. They will more than likely be more than happy to help as they had to do the same thing. All of them I met were glowing about their jobs and loved the company.

First topic on the forum!
Yeah, I am also interested in this field, but I wanted to shadow one just to make sure I will really enjoy the work, but it is hard to find one to shadow. The hospitals I live around don't let me...it is just volunteering. I used to shadow doctors at Plainview, but they only allow volunteers in the ER. I don't know any CRNA either.
I guess I'll just keep looking around. :typing lol

You can check with private anesthesia groups also as they have their own offices. Most CRNA's love to share their love of their professions. But due to HIPAA (privacy) regulations, it is probably very hard for a non-employee to see and follow a surgery of a patient.
