I noticed that the army does not require organic chem for the direct access program, but the USUHS requires it for admission. Is this waived, because i thought that the Navy, AF, and Army attend this school? Or do you still have to have it? Does the AF require that their CRNA applicants have organic chem?

Does the AF require that their CRNA applicants have organic chem?Hi,I am not attending USUHS but USAGPAN, I did apply to both. USUHS I believe does have a few Army (maybe AF, VA) participants. The website does explain the requirements....I don't know about a waiver, have you called them? I don't think Ochem is a requirement for USAGPAN ( I had it 100yrs ago) and USAGPAN has 5 AF, 4 VA students for 2009 start (from what I can see).....http://www.dns.amedd.army.mil/crna/index.htm USAGPANhttp://www.usuhs.mil/gsn/admissions/requirements.html http://www.usuhs.mil/gsn/rna/index.html Nurse Anesthesia Program 1. Out of curiosity why are you concerned with taking organic chemistry?
wallyballie_golf 33 Posts Apr 15, 2009 I would really like to join the AF and go their route for the CRNA program. From my understanding is that is the school that they attend. Justing see what all the requirements are. I have only had to take chem 1 for nursing school. So if i have to take the organic, then i would have to take chem 2 for preq. and then organic.
