Hi, I've been a lurker and have bummed around on the forums looking through all the GRE-score related psots that I could find. I recently took my GREs and wanted to get an opinion on whether I should re-take them or not? I got a 740 quantitative and 480 verbal -- my verbal is extremely low. Total is 1220 though.
I'm still waiting on the writing but theoretically, if I were to get at least a 5, would it be worth it to re-take my GREs? My problem is that I've never been good at math and I fear that if I re-took it, my math score would go down significantly.
I have an overall 3.5 GPA at UC Berkeley as a Physiology major, but my prereq GPA is higher and I'm interested in applying to the master's entry programs at University of Illinois, Chicago, Yale, Columbia, Boston College and Northeastern. After seeing how poorly I did on verbal however, I'm not too sure I'm qualified to apply.
It would be great if I could get some opinions from those of you who have been accepted to any of those schools! Thanks for all your help!
