Need an opinion on Kaplan's Online Rn-BSN program

Published

Is anyone currently taking the program or have finished it recently? I just wanted to get some opinions from someone who has experienced it first hand. It seems to be pretty student friendly, but then you cannot be sure. Please let me know. Thanks

I start the RN-BSN on Wednesday. I too am trying to get some insight on the program:shy:

However I can't seem to find much info. Sucks...:nailbiting:

I am looking into it and it seems like most of the people really like it so far. There are some complaints about the financial aid. Some people on this site have said it is a hard program and not a diploma mill. Surprisingly, there is a lot of positives from the people who are in the program and the negatives usually come from other people who are not in the program or were turned off due to the financial aid process.

I plan on applying and taking the class in the spring time. I am excited for it. I just want to pass my NCLEX first or in the first few weeks so I want my test date first.

Also, some people think it is not accrediated nationally but the online BSN and MSN programs are accrediated by the CCNE. However, you should look into the requirements per state as I am able to be licensed in my states for the FNP program due to the vagueness of the state wording (as in you need to be able to sit for a natioanl test to become licensed).
