for ls1 I used studygroup101 and saunders, as well as the ec practice exams. saunders was a big fat waste of time unfortunately, as all the info was in the sg101 material. I also memorized the ec practice exams before every test.
I didnt buy sg101 for this exam, I know a lot of ppl like it, but i had it for chronicity & ls2 and it just didnt work well for me. for chronicity it had a lot of good info, it was just hard for me to follow. I prefer reading the textbook, i feel like its really well written. I also got saunders frm a friend for this one (but its like 2 editions back, so some of the material doesnt match up with the textbook), but i do feel like the questions at the end of the chapters are really helpful. I took the 2nd practice exam last night and got a 70, which makes me feel a little better, but I will still be cramming all day today and then tonight!! Do you remember any of the areas that it focused a lot about...eg. chemo agents, chf mechanisms & meds???

know your sensory stuff and yes know the oncology piece and chemo agents! Good luck! I got a B on that one, wasn't that bad but my strong points are cardio/resp
Woah.....sensory?? That was on chronicity right?
Just finished the exam, passed with a B!!!! Only 2 exams left!!! Which should i take next, LS3 or my most dreaded subject of all repro??
I took them all in order, but I don't see why it would matter. which one do you feel like studying for now?
I took mine in order too...Repro was easy I thought, especially for thos who have had a baby themselves!! Got an A on that one with minimal studying. Wish all the LS tests were as simple! I have LS 2 next week. Fingers crossed :)
i think i am going to go with ls3 for the next one and save repro for last. i hope its as easy for me as it was for yall, i dont have any kids yet & my ob rotation was the only one that made me a little queasy in lpn school -->this girl will never be a l&d nurse lol!
