I recently put in my resignation on a home case. Everything was wonderful up until that point. I knew it would get a little hairy having watched a few other nurses go. I receives an email from mom totally discresiting all my work saying I did nothing and was planning on reporting me to the bon. I talked to my supervisor amd she sais not to worry my documents are perfect and i am very anal about the quality of my care. The client has has no infections, rehospitalization, or skin break down. He has gained weight so nutrition status ia great. Between his condition and my nurse notes what trouble can get get into?

Breathe a sigh of relief and believe in what your supervisor told you. She is in a better position to evaluate the quality of your work than the client. She made these allegations after you resigned from the case, right? Then, the Board will see that this is nothing more than retaliation on her part. Find your next case and keep up the good work.
Thanks. It's gotten a little easier. I have a new case and I'm assuming she has a new nurse. Just very hard to read someone say I didn't do my job. My supervisor said that parents doing this when a nurse leaves is not at all uncommon. So we'll see.
Oh, your supervisor is right on target. You would be surprised at some of the accusations that come out of a client's mouth when they want to get rid of their nurse. Then, down the road, the replacement nurse gets the same treatment when it is time for a new audition.
