Okay, so I have to come up with an invocation for our pinning ceremony before April 24. Right now, all I have is the end (In Jesus' name, Amen). By the way, I'm so not a public speaker. If anyone could give me some tips or point me in the right direction, I would be so appreciative.
Thanks in advance.

There is definitely something to be said about the family and friends who pushed us along and motivated us. Also, the teachers and fellow classmates that believed in our abilities and kept us on track. For all the patients that helped us learn in their time of trouble, and all the wonderful nurses that mentored us and kept us on the right path and challenged our mind. For all our children that put up with all our study time and all the professors that molded our thoughts.
Gosh, I need about one more beer. I just love my fridays.

i agree with the PP - thank everyone for the sacrfices they made and help they gave on the way..
also for the hands, hearts and minds of the class as they become nurses - may they always be gentle, may common sense and medical knowledge always prevail, may no one ever lose theit love for being a nurse or forget how important of a job it really is..etc
here are some examples I found on the internet that may inspire you:

The last one has several prayers on it. HTH!
Thank you both for your replies. They were very helpful.
