Need info on Sevierville area.....

Looking for information from people who live in the Sevierville area. Am considering a job offer and need recommendations on nice, safe areas to live with good schools for a family.

Would like to live close but not actually in Sevierville. So, without knowing specifics about the area am looking at Newport, Maryville, Dandridge, Seymour....to name a few. Would any of these places be good and if not what areas would be.

Anything extra you can tell me is a plus. Thanks so much in advance!!!!!!!!!!:D

I live in Seymour and I love it! Beautiful area, several restaurants and grocery stores, reasonable costs for housing, safe in most neighborhoods.

Most of these surrounding rural areas are really safe areas. Blount County (maryville) and Seymour are both nice areas. Both have subdivision type living as well as many rural areas.

I have also heard Dandridge is nice!

Sevierville can get a little busy with tourist traffic. Blount County has grown a TON. There are many restaurants, a mall, two Walmart Super centers, Lowes and Home Depot, etc.
