I remember taking the NLN. I didn't study at all for it :/
I did although have a review book that I purchased in case I ever got around to studying. It has all kinds of stuff on the exam.. and I would encourage you to buy a review book.
Google it and I'm sure you can find out what you need to brush up on. I can tell you it has English - Math and Science on it.

I remember the test being about 280 questions long. It took about 2 hrs and 45. It had 4 parts to it. If I recall correctly it was comprised of math ( including but not limited to adding, subtracting, algebra, fractions and some geometry) spelling and comprehension, science and then questions on ethics. Some schools tests' are harder than others. I've heard some say they breezed through and others had to take some classes before they were allowed to take it again. what ever happens good luck!!!!!
