Hi!
Could somebody please kindly answer:
I just finished LPN school in Florida (reviewing for NCLEX). I am planning to move and work in Louisiana. Do I understand it correctly that you are only allowed to take NCLEX PN in the state where you finished PN program, be licensed in that state and then apply for an additional license in some other state? Or would it be realistic at all to hope to take NCLEX PN in Louisiana and apply for license there?
Thank you for your reply in advance

You DO NOT have to sit NCLEX for the state you do your training in. The exam is national and as long as you meet the BON requirements then you can sit it for any BON.
Therefore if you plan on living in another state once you graduate you can just apply to the new state, meet their requirements and wait for eligibility to sit the exam
Dear Silverdragon 102,
