I am currently waiting on an ATT. I submitted an declaratory order to the Tx state board of nurses for a misdemeanor charge of 15 years ago. I have since then had to submitt further information regarding the fact surrounding this incidence. I am waiting to hear from them and trying to stay positive. My charge was reckless conduct steming from a situation where I intentionally stomped on the bicycle rims of a local thug who harassed me on a daily basis. I won't go into the long drawn out story, but He did what I should have done when the problem first began with him harassing me. He pressed charges and I served six months probation for my actions, and since then have no further incidences or had I any before this on occured. My question is this. If Texas refuses to let me sit for the boards, can I sit in another state that disregard misdemeanor charges? If anyone know anything on this topic I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
