Need help regarding stats on acceptance

Hey all! I would like some of your help/opinions about my path now. I want to do the direct MSN programs, UCSF being my top choice! I know they're competitive, but I'm not giving up without a fight.

Here's what I do now:

I have a 3.6 gpa from University of California, Davis and I have been interning at the trauma unit in the medical center for the school.

I'm also taking my GREs in August/September

Should I become a CNA also just for experience in the meantime?

What schools have the best programs that you guys would think will accept me?

Thank you for your help guys! It's very important to me. I think I'm in a midlife crisis.

Hi there - what is your ultimate goal? NP? If so, which specialty?

Have you shadowed an NP or another APRN?

I think you are doing the right thing interning in a trauma center. We wish you the best

Thanks for replying :)

I would like to do emergency care as an NP. I saw that Vanderbilt has a good program. I'm going to get my CNA license this summer. I hope a program accepts me when I apply!
