need help regarding austrlia nursing

I am a qualified nurse from uk planning to move to australia and looking for the opportunity . Do i need to pass the board exam and IELTS inorder to practice as a qualified nurse and if any one have information plz reply back to this mail.

Thread moved to the International Forum per the red banners at the top of the sub-forums. Anything having to do with licensure and/or immigration needs to go to the International Forum as there are many issues that the native nurses are not familiar with that you will need to go thru.

And Australia goes by where you attended nursing school, same as every other country. Not by where you are currently licensed. Each state has their own requirements. You just need to do a search on this forum for the information that you are looking for, it has been addressed many times.
