Need help - moving to Atlanta :-)

U.S.A. Georgia

Hello !

I am an Icelandic RN, moving to Atlanta in June 2010. Can anyone please give me some good suggestions on places to live (in or around Atlanta) with reasonable cost of living, low crime rate, good schools (we do have three kids) and a great hospital where I can work, preferable ICU.

I appreciate all your advices, since I haven´t been to the US before... but I´m really looking forward to move :yeah:

Best regards to you all,

Addy, RN.

You are welcome.

I moved to Georgia about 3 1/2 years ago. By far, Gwinnett is one of the best places to live considering you have kids. I live in loganville and the school system is great both grammer and High School. There are two hospital that im familiar with and those are Gwinnett Medical Ctr in Lawrencville, ga and East Side Medical in Snellville, ga. Give them a try.

Specializes in Ortho, Case Management, blabla.

I recently moved to Woodstock, GA and work in Atlanta. Been happy with Woodstock so far.
