Hey everyone,
I'm getting ready to submit my application to MCC's nursing program. At the information session they said the letter of interest was very important to boost your application. Any tips? What should I include/not include? Thanks!

Are there any guidelines for the letter of interest? Are you supposed to write about why you want to be a nurse?
The guidelines are pretty loose. At the information session it said to include why you would be a good candidate for the program. I don't have a background working in the medical field, so I'm wondering what else I can emphasize. Thanks!

Perhaps you could emphasize what has led you to decide that you want to be a nurse and why you think nursing is for you. I wrote a letter before for Regis College and I talked about my past education and work, what made me want to change and why nursing is the right change. Good luck!
You can also mention the qualities you have that you believe will make you a good candidate, and a good nurse.
