If you dont know about dialysis are you really sure you want to do it. The hep c and hiv risk for you is higher with access care and insertion such a big part of the job. these patients are really sick. LVN do quit a bit RNS are responsible for pushing drugs and cpr when they crash if you work at a facility out of the hospital. You have to mix and take orders from doc on the level for potassium and sodium to add depending on if your certified. You really need to brush up on diabetes kidney failure and the side effets and adverse effects of dialysis. go online. Good luck. Know your stuff.
