Keep in mind though that technical school tuition is usually way more than a community college. However, some states only have technical schools that offer the LPN program.
The technical college that I went to was part of the university and I paid the exact same amount that the academic students paid for tuition. There is another tech college 60 miles away and their tuition is way less, so really look at the programs, the pass/fail rates, the tuition, the amount of time you have to be there and the requirements. I wanted to get my degree at an accredited program and know that when I was ready to go for my RN, that my credits would be accepted.
