Need help in finding the best 2 year nursing school in nyc

Nursing Students Student Assist

I am trying to find the best nursing school in nyc or westchester. I am doing my prerequistes right now at wcc. So far I have narrowed it down to Westchester Community College, Bronx Community College and Phillip Beth Israel. Each school require different prerequisites, I want to know if they are better schools out there and which is the best of the lot, so I can decide what classes to take for spring semester. :typing

I have heard Hunter is one of the best. Also City College. I was a student there a long time ago. I could kick myself for dropping out now. Anyway, good luck!

I am a transfer student from Bronx community college. I did most of my pre-reqs there. I took the exam for phillips beth israel twice and still wasn't chosen for their program. Paid $75 dollars each time. In fall 2007, I transferred to Rockland Community College in Suffern NY. Alot of people from Bcc and Wcc are transferring there. At Rcc, you can take your pre-reqs and your clinicals concurrently. I'd never heard of a school that allowed that before. God willing, I will be starting the first nursing course on January 24, 2009. If you drive, this is the best choice I can think of. Also, what boro do you live in? I live in the Bronx. The college website is www.sunyrockland.edu.
